📝 How to Apply: NSP Precautions

All students must submit their application on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) .

🔒 Essential Precautions for DBT Success

As you fill out your application to claim the scholarship, please ensure you follow these critical steps for hassle-free payment via DBT:

  1. Aadhaar Seeding is MANDATORY: Your bank account must be linked/seeded with your Aadhaar number and be active. Funds are transferred through the Aadhaar Payment Bridge System (APBS).

    • The Golden Rule: Only the most recently seeded active account linked to your Aadhaar will receive the DBT funds. If you have multiple accounts, check which one is actively linked to the NPCI Mapper and ensure it's the one you want to use.

  2. Account Type: Your bank account should NOT be a joint or zero-balance account. It must be a full-service, individual savings account.

  3. Correct Details: You must upload your income certificate, caste certificate, bank account details, Admission Rank, and Fee details on the NSP. The institute verifies all these details.

  4. Verification Follow-Up: After submitting, follow up with your Institution to ensure they verify your application on the NSP before the deadline (typically October 31st or the date decided by the DBT Mission).

✍️ Author's Note: My Work in Literature

Hello, I'm S Kunaal Jaiswal. Beyond my commitment to helping students navigate financial aid, I am a published author. I find great fulfillment in writing to share my views, perspectives, and thoughts in the form of stories that eventually become books.

My passion for empowering the youth of our nation and discussing the profound responsibility of leadership is woven into my creative work.

This compelling quote is from a fiction book I authored, "Parenting The Nation," which tells a story about true leadership and the concept of parenthood for the youth of India by its leaders:

"Somewhere, in the vast tapestry of a nation, a child sleeps. Their breath is soft, their smile faint, their trust absolute. What kind of world allows such peace? And what happens when that world, through neglect or ambition, forgets how to parent its own?"
